The PARKER 1/8 CD-S is a 90-degree street elbow designed for industrial pipe and instrumentation systems where high-pressure performance and compact routing changes are required. Constructed from zinc-plated steel, it connects a 1/8-inch male NPTF thread to a 1/8-inch female NPTF thread, allowing a direction change directly off a fitting or port without a separate nipple. The zinc plating provides corrosion resistance suitable for general industrial environments. With a maximum working pressure of 5,000 psi, this elbow handles demanding hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-power applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic technicians install this fitting in compressed-air, lubrication, and fluid-control line assemblies.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or qualified technician in accordance with applicable codes and the system pressure rating. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly; do not apply sealant to the first one or two threads. Do not over-torque, as steel NPTF fittings can crack or distort at excessive torque, and the thread taper provides the primary seal.
