The PARKER 1-4 FBZ-SS is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join small-diameter tubing to male NPT threaded ports in fluid and gas distribution systems. With a 1/16 inch tube outside diameter and a compression-to-MNPT end configuration, this fitting creates a reliable, leak-resistant connection without the need for solder or flare tooling. A maximum working pressure rating of 16,800 psi makes it suitable for high-pressure instrumentation, hydraulic, and process control lines. HVAC, plumbing, and instrumentation technicians use this fitting when connecting small-bore tubing to threaded manifolds, valves, or instruments. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion in wet or chemically active environments.
This connector is used in applications requiring a secure, high-pressure transition between compression-style tubing and a male NPT threaded port. Common install scenarios include instrumentation tubing runs, refrigeration sensing lines, hydraulic control circuits, and process piping where small-bore stainless tubing terminates at a threaded valve or manifold. The NPT thread standard ensures compatibility with standard North American threaded pipe fittings across a wide range of industrial and mechanical systems.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for use with 1/16 inch OD tubing terminating at male NPT threaded ports in instrumentation, hydraulic, refrigeration, and process control systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, HVAC technician, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fittings and NPT thread connections. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the male NPT port, then advance with a wrench per the fitting manufacturer standard turns-past-finger-tight guidance for the tubing material and diameter. Do not overtighten, as this can deform the compression ferrule and compromise the seal.
