The PARKER 1-2 CBZ-SS is a compression tube male elbow fitting constructed from stainless steel. It connects a compression tube end to a male NPT threaded port, making a 90-degree directional change in instrument or process tubing lines. The fitting is rated to 16800 psi maximum working pressure, making it suitable for high-pressure instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications. It accepts tubing with a 1/16 inch outside diameter on the compression end and terminates in a 1/8 inch MNPT thread. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers of this type of fitting.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial instrumentation systems, analytical equipment, high-pressure pneumatic lines, and process control tubing runs where a direction change from tube to threaded port is required. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive environments, high-purity fluid service, and applications requiring resistance to elevated pressures. The compact elbow geometry suits tight-space installations common in instrument panels and control enclosures.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for high-pressure instrumentation and process tubing systems using 1/16 inch OD tubing with 1/8 inch MNPT threaded port connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or making new connections. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation including a clean, square cut and a burr-free tube end to achieve a reliable seal. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the connection; follow the fitting manufacturer's recommended tightening procedure.
