The PARKER 1-1 HBZ-SS is a compression tube union designed to create a leak-tight, all-compression connection between two tube ends without the need for flared or threaded tube ends. Constructed from stainless steel, this union is suited for high-pressure fluid and gas line applications where corrosion resistance and mechanical durability are required. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified instrumentation technician familiar with high-pressure compression fittings. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any existing connection or installing this union. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then apply the additional turns specified by the fitting manufacturer using appropriate tube fitting wrenches. Verify the connection for leaks before returning the system to service, following applicable IPC or facility-specific pressure-test procedures.
