The PARKER 1-1 FBZ-SS is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join 1/16 inch outside diameter tubing to a male NPT threaded port. It provides a leak-resistant mechanical seal without the need for soldering or brazing, making it a reliable choice for high-pressure instrumentation, pneumatic, and fluid system applications. The fitting is rated for a maximum working pressure of 16,800 psi, which makes it suitable for demanding process environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this type of fitting when connecting small-bore tubing to threaded components in control panels, test rigs, or process lines.
This fitting is intended for use in applications where stainless steel corrosion resistance and high-pressure integrity are required. Typical installations include hydraulic instrumentation lines, chemical process tubing runs, pneumatic control circuits, and gas sampling systems. The compression-to-MNPT configuration allows direct connection to standard NPT-threaded ports on valves, manifolds, gauges, and other threaded components without additional adapters. Designed as an OEM-style compression tube connector for use with 1/16 inch OD tubing and standard NPT female threaded ports in instrumentation, pneumatic, and fluid handling systems.
Installation is performed by pipefitters or instrumentation technicians in accordance with applicable piping codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping. Before installing or removing any compression fitting, isolate and depressurize the line and verify the system is free of residual pressure. Insert the tubing squarely to full depth before tightening the compression nut, and apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT male threads per the system media requirements. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
