The PARKER 08FS5C2332ACF is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for control of hot water and steam in commercial and industrial fluid systems. The brass body houses an EPDM seal rated to 300 degrees F and supports a maximum working pressure of 50 psi. With a Cv factor of 3.6 and a 1/2-inch orifice, the valve delivers reliable flow control for high-temperature media. It accepts a wide range of coil voltages including 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24/60 Vac, 120 Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50 Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50 Vac, making it adaptable to varied control-circuit configurations. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial pipefitters typically install this valve as part of zone control or process-isolation assemblies.
This valve is suited for residential and commercial hot water and steam applications where a fail-closed, de-energized-closed action is required. The 1/2-inch NPT threaded connection integrates directly into standard pipe configurations. The 11-watt coil draw keeps heat generation low in panel-mounted or enclosed installations.
