The PARKER 08F23O6140ACF is a two-way, piloted diaphragm solenoid valve designed for controlling the flow of fluids, gases, and light oils in industrial and commercial systems. It ships in a normally open configuration, meaning flow passes freely when the coil is de-energized and shuts off upon actuation. The valve body is constructed from stainless steel, and sealing is handled by an NBR diaphragm rated for service up to 175 degrees F. It accepts a wide range of supply voltages including 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24/60 Vac, 120 Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50 Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50 Vac, making it adaptable to a broad range of control circuits. Coil wattage is 11 watts. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service technicians are the primary installers.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial applications where automated on/off flow control is required for compatible media including water, air, inert gases, and light oils. The 0.5 inch NPT port and piloted diaphragm design make it a practical fit for process piping, HVAC hydronic systems, and fluid-handling equipment. A Cv factor of 4.0 supports moderate flow rates at the rated 150 psi maximum working pressure. Minimum operating pressure differential is 0 psi, allowing it to function in low-differential or gravity-fed systems where many piloted valves cannot.
Rated for use with fluids, gases, and light oils. Cross-references to ASCO Number 8210G30. Designed as an OEM-style direct replacement or new-installation solenoid valve for process piping and HVAC fluid-control applications using 0.5 inch NPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified industrial technician in accordance with applicable local codes. De-energize and isolate the system, relieving all line pressure before removing or installing the valve. Note that solenoid coils are sold separately and are not included with this valve body. Verify coil voltage matches the available control-circuit supply before wiring; all electrical connections must comply with NEC requirements for the installation environment.
