The PARKER 08F20C2128ADF is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for controlling the flow of fluids, gases, and light oils in industrial and mechanical systems. Built with a brass body and NBR seal, it delivers reliable shutoff performance across a wide range of voltage inputs, including 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 24/60Vac, 120Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50Vac. The coil is included and draws 16 watts. With a 1/2-inch NPT port, a Cv factor of 2.8, and a maximum working pressure of 15 psi, this valve suits a broad range of process control and HVAC-adjacent applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial installations where direct-acting solenoid control of fluids, gases, or light oils is required. The normally closed configuration means the valve defaults to a closed state when de-energized, making it appropriate for safety-critical shutoff applications. The wide voltage compatibility supports integration into both AC and DC control circuits without the need for additional transformers in many common configurations. The 1/2-inch NPT thread makes it compatible with standard pipe and fitting systems found across HVAC, plumbing, and process piping installations.
Designed as a direct-acting solenoid valve for use with fluids, gases, and light oils in systems requiring 1/2-inch NPT connections. Also referenced by ASCO Number 8030G69.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified mechanical contractor. Shut off all supply pressure and de-energize the control circuit before servicing or installing this valve. Ensure the selected voltage matches the control circuit before wiring the coil. Follow all applicable local codes, including IPC and NEC requirements for fluid control and low-voltage or line-voltage wiring as appropriate to the installation.
