The PARKER 06FS5C2432ACH is a two-way, piloted diaphragm solenoid valve designed for controlling flow in hot water and steam systems. It features a normally closed configuration, meaning the valve remains shut when de-energized and opens only when the coil is activated. The brass body and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seal make it well suited for high-temperature fluid service, with a maximum operating temperature of 353 degrees F. The valve carries a 3/8 inch NPT port, an orifice size of 0.50 inches, a Cv rating of 3.0, and a maximum working pressure of 125 psi. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and plumbers typically install this valve in commercial and industrial fluid-control applications.
This valve is rated for use in hot water and steam service and supports multiple voltage options: 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24/60 Vac, 120 Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50 Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50 Vac, making it adaptable to a wide range of control circuit configurations. At 11 watts and a minimum operating pressure differential of 1 psi, it fits both residential boiler systems and light commercial hydronic or steam distribution applications. The piloted diaphragm design requires a minimum inlet pressure to actuate, which should be confirmed against system specifications before installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation solenoid valve for hot water and steam control systems requiring a 3/8 inch NPT, normally closed, two-way piloted diaphragm valve with brass construction.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and IFGC or IPC requirements. Shut off system pressure and isolate the line before removing or installing the valve. Confirm that the control circuit voltage matches one of the rated coil voltages before energizing. Note that solenoid coils are not included with this valve and must be ordered separately.
