The PARKER 06FS5C2432ACF is a 2-way, normally closed, piloted diaphragm solenoid valve designed for controlling flow in hot water and steam systems. The body is constructed of brass with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seal, making it suitable for demanding thermal and fluid environments. Operating pressure range runs up to 80 psi with a minimum operating pressure differential of 1 psi. The valve accepts a wide range of voltage inputs including 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24/60 Vac, 120 Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50 Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50 Vac, giving technicians flexibility across control circuit configurations. At 11 watts and a Cv rating of 3.0, this valve delivers reliable actuation for commercial and industrial flow control. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors are the typical installers.
This valve is suited for hot water and steam applications in both commercial and industrial settings. The 3/8 inch NPT port size fits standard pipe thread connections common in boiler systems, hydronic heating loops, and process piping. Its piloted diaphragm design requires a minimum pressure differential of 1 psi to open fully, so it is best applied in pressurized line conditions. The broad voltage compatibility makes it adaptable to a wide range of control panels and building automation systems without requiring a dedicated transformer in most cases.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation solenoid valve for hot water and steam piping systems requiring a 3/8 inch NPT normally closed 2-way valve with a PTFE seal and brass body.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IFGC or IPC as applicable. Shut off system pressure and allow the line to cool before removing or installing the valve. Confirm control circuit voltage matches the coil voltage before energizing. Note that this is a piloted diaphragm valve and requires a minimum of 1 psi pressure differential across the valve to open fully — do not apply to gravity-fed or near-zero-differential-pressure lines.
