The PARKER 06F22C2140A3F is a two-way, normally closed, piloted diaphragm solenoid valve designed for controlling the flow of fluids, gases, and light oils in industrial and mechanical systems. Built with a brass body and NBR seal, it handles working pressures up to 125 psi and fluid temperatures up to 150 degrees F. The valve accepts a wide range of coil voltages including 12 VDC, 24 VDC, 24/60 VAC, 120 VDC, 120/60 to 110/50 VAC, and 240/60 to 220/50 VAC, making it adaptable across diverse electrical service configurations. Coils are sold separately. The 3/8 inch NPT port and 5/8 inch orifice deliver a Cv factor of 3.0, supporting reliable flow capacity for a range of plumbing and process piping applications. This valve is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving water, air, gas lines, and compatible light oils. The normally closed configuration means flow is blocked when the coil is de-energized and opens on actuation, which is a common fail-safe requirement in HVAC controls, irrigation systems, water treatment equipment, and pneumatic or hydraulic circuits. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified industrial mechanic familiar with the applicable piping codes including IPC and IFGC where gas service is involved. Shut off system pressure and de-energize all electrical circuits before removing or installing the valve. Ensure the selected coil voltage matches the available electrical supply before energizing. Note that solenoid coils are not included with this valve body and must be ordered separately before commissioning.
