The PARKER 04FS0C3410ACH is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for precise fluid control in industrial and commercial piping systems. Built with a stainless steel body and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seal, it handles demanding media including hot water and steam at temperatures up to 344 degrees F. The valve features a 1/4 inch NPT port and a Cv factor of 0.52, making it well suited for applications where controlled flow rates and tight shutoff are required. It accepts a wide range of coil voltages, from 12Vdc to 240Vac, providing flexibility across different control circuit configurations. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
This valve is rated for hot water and steam service at a maximum working pressure of 110 psi with a minimum operating pressure differential of zero, meaning it operates reliably even at no pressure differential across the valve. It is appropriate for both residential and commercial system installations where a normally closed, de-energized-closed fail-safe configuration is required. The 1/4 inch NPT threaded connection suits standard pipe fittings commonly found in process, HVAC, and plumbing installations. Coil wattage is 11 watts. Note that solenoid coils are sold separately and are not included with this valve body.
Designed as a direct-acting normally closed solenoid valve for hot water and steam piping systems with 1/4 inch NPT connections. Cross-reference ASCO Number 8263G300 for compatibility verification with existing system specifications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the fluid supply and relieve all system pressure before removing any existing valve or fitting. Ensure the coil voltage selected matches the control circuit voltage before energizing. Solenoid coils are not included and must be ordered separately prior to commissioning.
