The PARKER 04F25C2122C3F is a two-way, normally closed, piloted diaphragm solenoid valve designed for controlling the flow of fluids, gases, and light oils in industrial and HVAC-related piping systems. It features a 1/4 inch NPT port, a brass body, and an NBR seal, making it suitable for a broad range of compatible media. The valve operates across multiple voltage options including 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 24/60Vac, 120Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50Vac. With a Cv factor of 1.2 and a maximum working pressure of 275 psi, it is well-suited for moderate-pressure service lines. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial pipefitters are the primary installers for this type of valve.
This valve is used in residential and light commercial applications where automated shutoff or flow control is required. Typical installations include HVAC refrigerant circuits, compressed air lines, water supply lines, and gas service applications where a normally closed, electrically actuated shutoff is needed. The piloted diaphragm design requires a minimum operating pressure differential of 5 psi to actuate, so it is best suited for pressurized systems rather than gravity-fed or zero-differential lines. Applications span fluids, gases, and light oils within the rated temperature and pressure limits.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation solenoid valve for pressurized fluid, gas, and light oil service lines requiring a 1/4 inch NPT normally closed two-way valve with piloted diaphragm actuation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing the valve. Verify that the system pressure differential meets the 5 psi minimum required for pilot-operated actuation before commissioning. Note that solenoid coils are sold separately and are not included with this valve body.
