The PARKER 04F20C1108A1F is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for precise fluid and gas flow control in industrial and mechanical systems. Built with a brass body and NBR seal, it handles fluids, gases, and light oils at working pressures up to 65 psi with a minimum operating pressure differential of zero, meaning it operates without a pressure drop across the valve. The 1/4 inch NPT port and 1/8 inch orifice make this a compact inline control valve suited for tight installations. Multi-voltage coil options cover 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 24/60Vac, 120Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50Vac applications. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics are the primary installers.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial applications where reliable on/off flow control of compatible media is required. Typical installations include gas shutoff, fluid control circuits, and pneumatic systems operating within the rated pressure and temperature range. The normally closed configuration means flow is blocked when the coil is de-energized and opens only when power is applied. Maximum media temperature is 120 degrees F. The Cv factor of 0.35 assists engineers in sizing the valve within a flow circuit. Note that solenoid coils are not included with this valve body and must be ordered separately.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified industrial mechanic in accordance with applicable local codes. De-energize all electrical circuits and shut off upstream supply pressure before installing or servicing the valve. Use thread sealant appropriate for the media type when making NPT connections and avoid over-torquing the brass body. Solenoid coils are sold separately and must be matched to the system voltage before energizing.
