Parker 040351-05 is a thermal expansion valve (ECE-B-VW) designed for 1-1/2 to 3 ton refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It features extended ODF solder inlet/outlet connections (3/8 x 1/2 in), a brass body with a balanced port design, and a removable, field-adjustable superheat power element with a 60 in capillary tube and 1/4 in ODF external equalizer.
