The PARAMOUNT PAR37111 is a long-arm hex key designed for driving hex fasteners in confined or deep-reach applications. The 7/32 inch hex size fits standard socket head cap screws and set screws found throughout HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, and mechanical assemblies. The long arm extends overall length to 4-7/8 inches, giving technicians increased torque leverage on stubborn fasteners compared to a standard-length key. The key is machined from steel for durability under repeated torque loads. It ships individually and is sold in a minimum order quantity of 5 units, making it suitable for shop stocking or job kit assembly.
This hex key is a standard hand tool used across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool service trades wherever hex-drive fasteners appear. Common applications include tightening or loosening set screws on shaft collars, motor couplings, valve handles, and equipment panels. The long arm configuration is especially useful when working inside equipment cabinets or around obstructions where a short-arm key would not provide adequate reach or leverage. Suitable for residential and light commercial service work.
Designed as a standard 7/32 inch long-arm hex key compatible with any hex socket fastener of matching drive size across HVAC, plumbing, pool, and general mechanical service applications.
Use with hex socket fasteners only; do not attempt to use with Torx, spline, or other non-hex drive types. Ensure the key is fully seated in the fastener socket before applying torque to avoid rounding the drive. De-energize and lock out electrical equipment and shut off fluid systems before servicing fasteners on live assemblies. Inspect the key periodically for wear or deformation and replace if tip rounding is observed.
