The PANDUIT UTP6AX22RD is a Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cable rated for 10 Gbps data transmission. Designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and industrial environments, this cable provides the bandwidth and performance headroom required by high-speed network infrastructure. It serves as a horizontal or equipment-bay patch connection between network switches, patch panels, servers, and end devices. Licensed low-voltage technicians and structured cabling installers are the primary professionals who specify and terminate this cable in the field.
Category 6A cabling is the current minimum recommended standard for new commercial network installations supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper. This patch cable is suited for data centers, server rooms, telecommunications closets, and enterprise horizontal cabling runs. It is appropriate for use in both new construction and retrofit network infrastructure projects where 10GBase-T performance is required.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cable for use with Category 6A-rated patch panels, keystone jacks, and RJ45 network ports in structured cabling systems compliant with TIA-568 standards.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or registered communications distribution designer (RCDD) familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Avoid sharp bends, kinks, or exceeding the minimum bend radius during routing, as these can degrade signal performance. Patch cables should not be stapled or tightly bundled with power conductors, per NEC Article 800 separation guidelines. Verify that all connecting hardware is rated Category 6A to maintain end-to-end channel performance.
