The PANDUIT STPK6X7GR is a keyed copper patch cord designed for structured cabling installations where port-level security and cable management are priorities. Keyed patch cords use a proprietary plug-and-jack locking system that restricts unauthorized cable connections, making them well suited for data centers, server rooms, and enterprise network environments. The Cat6 rating supports Gigabit Ethernet and bandwidth-intensive applications at frequencies up to 250 MHz. This cord is sold individually and is installed by network technicians and low-voltage cabling professionals.
This patch cord is used in horizontal and vertical cable runs within structured cabling systems that follow TIA-568 standards. It is appropriate for patch panels, switches, routers, and network access equipment in both commercial and enterprise environments. The keyed design requires a compatible keyed keystone jack or patch panel port, so the system must be planned as a matched set. It is not intended for standard non-keyed RJ45 applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or addition within keyed copper patch cord systems requiring Cat6-rated performance. Compatible keyed jacks and patch panels are required for proper mating.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage cabling technician or qualified network infrastructure professional. Ensure all patch panel ports and keystone jacks are keyed-compatible before installing this cord, as it will not seat correctly in standard non-keyed ports. Follow TIA-568 structured cabling standards for bend radius and cable management. Power down or place active equipment in a maintenance state before making changes to live patch fields where possible.
