The PANDUIT STP6X9OR is a Cat 6a shielded copper patch cord designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and industrial network environments. It provides the high-frequency performance required by TIA-568-C.2 Category 6a specifications, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over copper at bandwidths up to 500 MHz. The shielded construction helps suppress alien crosstalk (AXT), making it well suited for dense cable environments where interference management is a priority. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors install this cord at patch panels, switches, and server rack connections where reliable data transmission is required.
This patch cord is intended for use in data centers, server rooms, and commercial office cabling infrastructure. It is appropriate for horizontal and equipment room patch applications where Cat 6a performance is specified. The orange jacket color aids in visual cable management and zone identification, which is common practice in structured cabling systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use patch cord for Cat 6a shielded structured cabling systems with RJ45 terminations.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling contractors or qualified network technicians in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Avoid sharp bend radii that exceed the cable's minimum bend radius specification, as this can degrade signal performance. Ensure patch panel and switch ports are clean and free of debris before seating the connector. Do not route alongside high-voltage power cables without maintaining proper separation per NEC Article 800 guidelines.
