The PANDUIT PSL-1017 is a twist turn cinch-style lockout device used in lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures to isolate energy sources during equipment service and maintenance. The cinch mechanism locks down with a twist-and-turn action, providing a secure, tamper-resistant hold over control switches and similar energy-isolation points. Electricians, maintenance technicians, and safety personnel install this device as part of OSHA-compliant LOTO programs in industrial, commercial, and facility maintenance environments.
The PSL-1017 is suited for use in facilities where lockout/tagout compliance is required under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147. It is designed to fit over compatible control points and prevent unauthorized or accidental re-energization during scheduled maintenance, repair, or equipment inspection tasks. Sold individually, it works alongside padlocks and other LOTO hardware as part of a complete energy-control procedure.
Designed as an OEM-style lockout device for use with compatible twist-turn control switches and energy-isolation points in standard LOTO applications.
Installation should be performed by qualified maintenance or safety personnel following the facility energy-control program. Ensure all energy sources are de-energized and verified before applying the lockout device. Each authorized worker should apply their own individually keyed padlock per OSHA group lockout procedures. Reference OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 and applicable facility safety standards for full procedural requirements.
