The PANDUIT pn18-8f-m is a nylon-insulated fork terminal designed for reliable mechanical and electrical connections on No. 8 studs. It accommodates conductors ranging from 22 AWG to 18 AWG and carries a 600-volt rating, making it suitable for a wide range of low-voltage control and power wiring applications. The terminal body is constructed from electrolytic tin-plated copper, which provides solid conductivity and corrosion resistance. An insulation grip sleeve secures the barrel to the wire insulation for added strain relief. Electricians and panel wiring technicians install these terminals using a standard hand or ratchet crimping tool. This pack contains 1000 terminals.
These fork terminals are used in residential and commercial electrical panels, control panels, junction boxes, and equipment wiring where a semi-permanent, removable stud connection is required. The open-fork tongue design allows the terminal to slide onto a screw or stud without full removal of the fastener, speeding up installation in tight enclosures. The red color coding identifies the 22-18 AWG conductor range at a glance, consistent with industry-standard color coding for this wire gauge range. Typical applications include HVAC control wiring, motor control centers, and general electrical equipment terminations.
Designed for use on No. 8 screw or stud terminations with 22 AWG to 18 AWG copper conductors. Compatible with standard hand and ratchet-style crimping tools rated for insulated terminals in the 22-18 AWG range.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified panel wiring technicians in accordance with NEC requirements for terminal connections. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a crimping tool rated for insulated fork terminals to ensure a gas-tight crimp; do not use pliers or non-rated tools as substitutes. Confirm conductor insulation is fully seated in the grip sleeve before crimping.
