The PANDUIT pn18-6f-m is a nylon-insulated fork terminal designed for making secure, low-resistance wire-to-stud connections in electrical panels, control systems, and equipment wiring applications. Built from electrolytic tin-plated copper, this standard-type lug accepts conductors ranging from 22 AWG minimum to 18 AWG maximum and fits a No. 6 stud size. The nylon insulation features a barrel-type insulation grip sleeve that supports proper wire retention and strain relief. Rated for 600 volts and up to 221 degrees F, this terminal meets UL 486A/486B and CSA C22.2 approvals. Each package contains 1000 terminals, making it practical for production wiring and large service jobs.
This fork terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, low-voltage control wiring, panel terminations, and equipment manufacturing. Its No. 6 stud size and 22-18 AWG conductor range make it a common choice for control circuit wiring, grounding terminations, and terminal block connections where a removable fork-style lug is preferred over a ring style. Electricians and panel builders routinely use this terminal in 600-volt-rated installations.
Designed as a standard fork-style terminal for use with No. 6 studs and 22-18 AWG copper conductors in 600-volt-rated electrical installations and control wiring applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician following NEC requirements for terminal and conductor sizing. Power down and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any conductors. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool rated for insulated terminals to ensure a proper crimp on the barrel sleeve. Do not over-strip the conductor, as excess bare wire beyond the barrel can compromise insulation integrity and clearance requirements.
