The PANDUIT PN14-8F-C is a fork terminal connector used to terminate electrical conductors with a secure, reliable mechanical connection. Fork terminals — also called spade terminals — slide onto a binding post or screw without fully removing the fastener, making them a common choice in control panels, switchgear, and equipment wiring. This terminal is sold individually and is intended for installation by licensed electricians or experienced panel technicians working on low-voltage wiring and termination tasks.
Fork terminals are used across residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical applications wherever a removable, positive conductor termination is needed on a screw or stud. Common install scenarios include control panel wiring, motor starter connections, and terminal block work. This connector is suited for 14 AWG conductors based on the part number designation and accepts a Number 8 stud size.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fork terminal for standard Number 8 stud applications on 14 AWG conductors in electrical control and wiring assemblies.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician or qualified wiring technician. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any conductors, following applicable NFPA 70 (NEC) lockout/tagout procedures. Use a calibrated crimping tool rated for the conductor gauge to ensure a secure, low-resistance crimp — never use pliers as a substitute for a proper crimp tool. Inspect the crimped terminal for conductor pullout resistance before re-energizing the circuit.
