The PANDUIT pn10-6r-d is a nylon-insulated ring terminal designed for crimped electrical connections on 12 to 10 AWG conductors. Built from electrolytic tin-plated copper, this standard-type lug provides a reliable, corrosion-resistant termination point at a No. 6 stud. The barrel features an insulation grip sleeve that secures the conductor insulation and reduces stress at the crimp point. Rated for 600 volts and up to 221 degrees F, it meets UL 486A/486B and CSA C22.2 standards and carries RoHS compliance. Electricians and panel technicians use this terminal for branch circuit wiring, control panels, and equipment grounding connections.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work where a secure, inspectable lug connection is required at a No. 6 stud fastener. Typical applications include control panel wiring, terminal block installations, grounding conductors, and low-voltage circuit terminations. The yellow color coding identifies 12 to 10 AWG conductor range at a glance, supporting fast, accurate installation in multi-wire assemblies. The bulk package of 500 pieces is appropriate for shop stocking or larger panel jobs where consistent terminal quality and volume are required.
Designed for use with 12 to 10 AWG conductors terminating at a No. 6 stud. Compatible with standard ratchet-style crimp tools appropriate for insulated ring terminals in this conductor range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for terminal connections. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratchet crimp tool rated for insulated terminals in the 12 to 10 AWG range to ensure a full, inspectable crimp. Do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools, as an incomplete crimp can result in a high-resistance connection or pull-out failure.
