The PANDUIT plt2.5s-m0 is a Pan-Ty locking cable tie designed for wire bundling, routing, and management in electrical and low-voltage installations. Molded from weather-resistant nylon 6.6, this standard cross-section tie measures 9.8 inches in length and 0.34 inches in width. The one-piece construction features a self-locking pawl mechanism that engages on insertion, providing a secure, non-releasable bundle. Rated for service down to -60 degrees Celsius, it holds up in harsh environments including outdoor enclosures, industrial panels, and conduit runs. Each bulk package contains 1000 ties, making it a practical stocking unit for high-volume installs.
This cable tie is suited for residential and commercial electrical work, low-voltage data and communications runs, HVAC wiring harnesses, and panel assembly. Electricians, low-voltage installers, and panel builders use these ties to dress and secure wire bundles inside enclosures, along raceways, and through cable trays. The black color provides UV resistance compared to natural nylon ties, making it an appropriate choice for exposed outdoor or under-hood applications. The 1000-piece bulk pack is intended for professional use where consistent tie sizing is required across a job.
Designed as a standard Pan-Ty locking cable tie for general wire routing, management, and protection applications across electrical, low-voltage, HVAC, and industrial installations.
Cable ties of this type are installed by electrical and low-voltage trades in accordance with NEC bundling and support requirements. De-energize circuits before dressing wire bundles inside live panels or enclosures. Trim the tail flush with the locking head after cinching to avoid sharp edges that can damage wire insulation or cause injury. Do not over-cinch on sensitive cables such as data or coax where deformation of the jacket can affect performance.
