The PANDUIT plf1m-m is a flag-style marker cable tie designed to fasten and identify wire and cable bundles in a single step. Built from Nylon 6.6, it features a miniature cross section, a 4.3-inch length, and an 18-pound tensile strength suitable for light-duty bundling tasks. The integrated write-on marking pad measures 0.31 inches wide by 0.75 inches high, giving technicians a dedicated labeling surface directly on the tie. The curved tip design makes it easy to pick up from flat surfaces and speeds up initial threading during installation. These ties ship in a standard pack of 1000 and are rated for indoor use across a wide temperature range. Electricians and data/comm installers are the primary trades who work with this product.
The plf1m-m is suited for indoor electrical, data, and low-voltage wiring applications where bundle identification is required at the point of fastening. The miniature cross section fits small-diameter wire bundles up to 0.87 inches in diameter, making it appropriate for control panels, junction boxes, telecom racks, and similar environments. The write-on pad accepts permanent marker ink and is compatible with Panduit permanent marker pens for legible, durable labeling. This tie is commonly used in commercial and light industrial settings where organized, identified cabling is required by project specifications or inspection standards.
Designed for use with Panduit permanent marker pens for write-on identification. Fits wire and cable bundles up to 0.87 inches in diameter in indoor electrical and low-voltage wiring applications.
Installation is typically performed by electricians or low-voltage technicians during rough-in or termination phases. De-energize circuits and secure all conductors before bundling and labeling. Thread the tie through the locking head and pull to the desired tension by hand or with a standard cable tie installation tool. Avoid over-tightening on insulated conductors, as excessive cinching can damage wire insulation.
