The PANDUIT NKP5E88MVL is a Category 5e punchdown jack module designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network infrastructure. This modular keystone-style jack accepts 22-24 AWG solid copper conductors terminated with a standard 110-style punchdown tool. The module terminates to an 8-position, 8-conductor (8P8C) RJ45 interface, providing a reliable patch point for Ethernet network connections. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the typical installers for this type of component.
This jack module is suited for use in network outlets, patch panels, surface-mount boxes, and structured wiring enclosures in both commercial office environments and residential low-voltage rough-in applications. It is well suited for horizontal cabling runs that terminate at work area outlets or consolidation points within a Cat 5e-rated cabling system supporting 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation component for Cat 5e structured cabling systems using standard keystone jack faceplates, patch panels, and surface-mount enclosures.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize or disconnect any active network equipment before terminating conductors at the jack. Use a 110-style punchdown tool set to the correct impact depth to seat and trim conductors cleanly. Avoid untwisting cable pairs more than 0.5 inches during termination to maintain Cat 5e signal integrity.
