The PANDUIT NKP5E88MRD is a Category 5e punchdown jack module designed for structured cabling installations. It terminates solid or stranded copper conductors using a standard 110-style punchdown connection, providing a reliable, low-loss signal path for Ethernet and voice applications. This jack module is sold individually and is intended for use by low-voltage cabling technicians in commercial and residential network infrastructure projects. It delivers the performance and mechanical stability expected of a field-termination jack in a patch panel or wall-plate application.
This module is suited for structured cabling deployments where Cat 5e performance is required. Typical installation scenarios include office data drops, server room patch panels, telecommunications rooms, and light commercial or residential network outlets. It is appropriate for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet as well as analog and digital voice circuits. Low-voltage cabling contractors and IT infrastructure technicians are the primary installers.
Designed as an OEM-style Cat 5e punchdown jack module for use in structured cabling patch panels and modular wall-plate assemblies that accept standard keystone or PANDUIT NK-series jack inserts.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician following TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any active network equipment and disconnect patch cables before working in the panel or outlet. A 110-style punchdown tool is required for proper conductor termination. Avoid untwisting more conductor pairs than necessary to maintain Cat 5e crosstalk performance at the termination point.
