The PANDUIT NKP5E88MIG-Q is a Category 5e punchdown jack module designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. It terminates twisted-pair network cable using a standard 110-style punchdown connection, providing a reliable interface between horizontal cable runs and patch panel or wall-plate assemblies. The module seats into compatible keystone or modular patch panel frames and delivers performance consistent with Cat 5e channel requirements. Network installers and low-voltage electricians use this jack as a core building block in data and voice cabling systems.
This jack module is suited for office, classroom, and light industrial structured cabling projects where Cat 5e performance is the specified standard. It installs into modular keystone-style faceplates, surface-mount boxes, or panel inserts as part of a complete horizontal cabling run. The punchdown termination method keeps installation straightforward and compatible with common field tools already in use on most data cabling job sites.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit module for Cat 5e keystone-compatible faceplates, surface-mount boxes, and modular patch panel frames.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or licensed electrician in accordance with applicable TIA-568 cabling standards and local codes. De-energize any powered patch equipment before seating or removing jack modules. Use a 110-style punchdown tool to terminate conductors — avoid cutting conductors shorter than necessary to maintain pair twist as close to the termination point as possible. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during dressing.
