The PANDUIT NKP5E88MBU-Q is a Category 5e punchdown jack module designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network infrastructure. This module terminates horizontal runs of Cat 5e twisted-pair cable at the patch panel or wall plate using a standard 110-style punchdown connection. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors install this jack as part of a modular panel system, connecting field-run cable to the front-facing RJ45 port. It is sold individually and is suited for high-density data outlet deployments where consistent termination performance is required.
This punchdown jack module is used in structured cabling systems for data networks, voice over IP, and low-voltage communications wiring. It fits into compatible PANDUIT NetKey modular keystone-style panel and faceplate systems, making it a standard component in office, education, healthcare, and light-industrial network buildouts. Installers use it wherever a field-terminated Cat 5e RJ45 outlet point is needed at the panel or work area outlet.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and field-install component for PANDUIT NetKey modular structured cabling panel and faceplate systems supporting Cat 5e punchdown jack configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage cabling contractor or qualified network technician in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any active patch panel or powered switch ports before terminating cables in the immediate work area. Use a 110-style punchdown tool to seat and trim conductors; avoid untwisting cable pairs more than is required by the standard. Verify polarity and pin assignments against T568A or T568B wiring schemes before testing the completed link.
