The PANDUIT NKBNCMIGY is a BNC coupler module rated at 50 ohms, designed for use with the Panduit NetKey modular faceplate and patch panel system. This module provides a female-to-female BNC inline connection point, allowing technicians to extend or terminate 50-ohm coaxial cable runs within a structured cabling installation. It snaps into standard NK-series faceplates, surface boxes, or patch panels, making it a straightforward component for AV integrators, low-voltage technicians, and network infrastructure installers working with coaxial signal distribution.
This module is suited for commercial and residential structured cabling environments where BNC coaxial connections are required at the outlet or patch point. Typical applications include video signal distribution, security camera infrastructure, broadcast AV systems, and RF or baseband signal routing. The 50-ohm impedance rating makes it appropriate for data and RF signal applications rather than 75-ohm video-only runs. Installers working on existing NetKey-series faceplate or patch panel deployments can add or replace individual modules without replacing the entire faceplate assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style modular insert compatible with NetKey-series faceplates, surface mount boxes, and patch panels that accept standard NK-series snap-in modules.
Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians or AV integrators familiar with structured cabling systems. Before servicing an active panel or faceplate, ensure any connected signal sources are powered down to avoid damage to sensitive equipment. The module snaps into NK-series faceplate ports without specialized tools; however, proper coaxial cable preparation and connector termination on the field side should follow manufacturer guidelines and applicable low-voltage wiring standards. Verify impedance matching across the full coaxial run to prevent signal reflection or loss.
