The PANDUIT LCD6-10A-L is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance electrical terminations. Compression lugs of this type are crimped onto a conductor using a hydraulic or mechanical compression tool, creating a gas-tight connection that resists vibration and corrosion over time. The two-hole mounting configuration allows the lug to be bolted to a bus bar, switchgear stud, or equipment terminal pad with two fasteners, distributing mechanical load and preventing rotation. This style of lug is a standard termination hardware item used by licensed electricians in commercial, industrial, and utility electrical installations.
Two-hole compression lugs are commonly installed at panelboard and switchboard terminations, motor control centers, and bus bar connections where a single-hole lug would introduce unacceptable rotation or contact instability. The LCD6-10A-L is suited for applications requiring a reliable permanent termination on copper conductors in commercial and industrial power distribution systems. Installation is performed by qualified electricians following applicable NEC guidelines for conductor terminations.
Designed as an OEM-style compression termination lug for use in commercial and industrial copper conductor termination applications. Confirm conductor size, barrel dimensions, and hole spacing against your specific installation requirements before ordering.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 110 termination requirements and local electrical codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before stripping the conductor and seating it in the lug barrel. Use only the compression tool and die set specified for this lug to achieve the correct crimp geometry. Inspect the completed crimp for full conductor seating and verify fastener torque to the equipment manufacturer's terminal specification.
