The PANDUIT LCD1/0-14A-X is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical distribution systems. This two-hole lug accepts compression tooling to create a gas-tight connection between a conductor and a bus bar, equipment terminal, or switchgear stud. The two-hole mounting pattern distributes mechanical load and resists rotation, which is critical in high-current applications. Copper construction provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. This type of lug is a standard component in commercial and industrial electrical work, installed by licensed electricians during panel builds, feeder runs, and equipment terminations.
Copper compression lugs of this style are used in commercial and industrial electrical installations, including switchgear, motor control centers, panelboards, and transformer secondary terminations. The two-hole configuration is common where anti-rotation and load distribution are required by specification or code. This lug is suited for use on copper conductors in fixed wiring systems where a permanent, inspectable compression termination is required.
Designed as an OEM-style compression termination lug for use in commercial and industrial electrical systems requiring a two-hole copper compression lug termination.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conductor terminations. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use only the manufacturer-specified compression die and tool to achieve a proper crimp — incorrect tooling can result in a failed or high-resistance connection. Torque mounting hardware to the terminal or bus bar per the equipment manufacturer's specifications.
