The PANDUIT LCCX8-14A-L is a two-hole copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical power distribution and grounding applications. Copper construction ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor installations. The compression-style design requires a crimping tool to create a gas-tight, mechanically sound connection between the conductor and the lug barrel. Electricians and electrical contractors install this type of lug on switchgear, panel terminations, bus assemblies, and equipment grounding systems where a reliable, code-compliant connection is required.
This lug is suited for commercial and industrial electrical work where two-bolt mounting is required for a secure, vibration-resistant termination. Two-hole lugs are commonly specified on bus bars, transformer termination pads, and main distribution panels where a single-hole connection would not meet torque or stability requirements. The LCCX8-14A-L is sold individually and is appropriate for use by licensed electricians and qualified electrical workers performing new construction or maintenance work.
Designed as an OEM-style compression termination lug for use in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical distribution and grounding systems where two-hole copper compression lugs are specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use a calibrated compression crimping tool rated for the conductor size and lug series to achieve a proper gas-tight crimp. Do not over-crimp or use an incompatible die set, as this can damage the lug barrel or compromise the connection.
