The PANDUIT LCCX6-14A-L is a two-hole copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical distribution and grounding applications. Copper construction provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The compression-style installation creates a gas-tight connection that resists vibration loosening and oxidation over time. This type of lug is a standard component in panel termination, bus bar connections, and equipment grounding work performed by licensed electricians.
Two-hole copper compression lugs are used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. They are commonly installed at switchgear, load centers, motor control centers, and grounding electrode conductors. The dual-hole mounting pattern distributes mechanical stress and prevents rotation on the terminal pad, which is critical in high-vibration environments and on bus bars with close stud spacing.
Designed as an OEM-style compression termination lug for use in standard electrical panel, switchgear, and bus bar applications requiring a two-hole copper compression connector.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conductor terminations. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use a calibrated compression tool rated for the lug barrel size to achieve a proper gas-tight crimp. Do not over-crimp or use an incompatible die, as this can damage the barrel and compromise the connection.
