The PANDUIT LCCX1/0-14A-X is a two-hole copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations on copper conductors. Compression lugs of this type are crimped onto conductor ends using a compatible compression tool, creating a gas-tight mechanical and electrical connection. This lug is sized for 1/0 AWG conductors and features a two-hole mounting tongue for bolted connections to busbars, switchgear, panelboards, or equipment terminals. Electricians and industrial maintenance technicians use compression lugs like this one throughout power distribution, grounding, and equipment bonding applications.
This lug is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations where reliable conductor terminations are required. Common install scenarios include service entrance wiring, main panel terminations, motor lead connections, and grounding electrode conductor (GEC) terminations. The two-hole tongue design provides added stability and resistance to rotation at the connection point compared to single-hole lugs, making it a preferred choice on busbars and large equipment terminals.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use with 1/0 AWG copper conductors in standard electrical termination applications requiring a two-hole bolted connection point.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit before working on any termination. Use only a compatible compression crimping tool specified for the lug size and die set to achieve a proper gas-tight crimp. Do not use open-barrel or mechanical set-screw techniques as a substitute for the compression crimping process.
