The PANDUIT LCCF6-14AF-L is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance electrical terminations. Compression lugs of this type are crimped onto conductor ends using a compatible compression tool, creating a gas-tight connection that resists vibration and oxidation. The two-hole mounting configuration allows the lug to be bolted to a busbar, switchgear panel, or terminal block with two fasteners, distributing mechanical load and preventing rotation. This type of hardware accessory is installed by licensed electricians in commercial and industrial power distribution applications.
Copper compression lugs are used wherever a reliable, permanent conductor termination is required. Typical applications include main service panels, switchgear, motor control centers, and large-format electrical distribution equipment. The two-hole barrel design is common in commercial and industrial settings where connection integrity and panel vibration resistance are critical requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use in commercial and industrial electrical termination applications where a two-hole copper compression lug is specified.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician. De-energize and lock out the circuit at the breaker or disconnect before beginning work, following NFPA 70E arc flash and lockout/tagout procedures. A calibrated compression tool rated for the lug style and conductor size must be used to achieve a proper crimp. Verify conductor preparation, insertion depth, and bolt torque specifications per the equipment manufacturer and applicable NEC requirements before restoring power.
