The PANDUIT LCC1000-12-3 is a two-hole copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance electrical terminations in power distribution and grounding applications. Copper construction provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The compression-style installation method creates a gas-tight mechanical bond between the conductor and the lug barrel, eliminating the need for solder and reducing the risk of connection failure over time. This type of lug is a standard component in commercial and industrial electrical work, installed by licensed electricians on power feeders, service entrances, and equipment grounding conductors.
Two-hole copper compression lugs are used in applications where a secure, bolted termination to a bus bar, switchboard, panelboard, or equipment enclosure is required. The two-bolt mounting pattern distributes mechanical stress and resists rotation under torque, making it well suited for higher-ampacity circuits and environments subject to vibration. This part is sold individually and is appropriate for use in both new construction and retrofit electrical installations.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use in commercial and industrial electrical panel, switchboard, and bus bar termination applications where a two-hole copper compression lug is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use a calibrated compression tool rated for the lug and conductor size to ensure a proper gas-tight crimp. Verify conductor preparation, including stripping length and removal of oxidation, before insertion into the lug barrel.
