The PANDUIT LCBX2-38-E is a single-hole copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical distribution and grounding applications. Copper construction ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. This lug is installed by crimping onto a conductor and securing to a bus bar, panel stud, or equipment lug point via a single bolt hole. It is a standard unit-of-measure item sold individually and is a common component in commercial and industrial electrical assemblies handled by licensed electricians.
Copper compression lugs of this type are used in a wide range of electrical installations including switchgear, panelboards, motor control centers, and grounding electrode conductor terminations. The single-hole mounting configuration suits installations where a single fastener point is specified by the equipment design or local electrical code. This part falls within the hardware and accessories category, making it applicable across both new construction wiring and retrofit or repair work.
Designed as an OEM-style compression termination lug for use in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems where a single-hole copper compression lug is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use a calibrated compression tool rated for the conductor size and lug barrel to achieve a proper crimp. Do not over-crimp or use mismatched tooling, as this can damage the barrel and degrade connection integrity.
