The PANDUIT LCB2-38-Q is a copper compression lug designed for secure, low-resistance termination of electrical conductors. Compression lugs are installed by crimping the barrel onto a stripped conductor using a calibrated compression tool, creating a gas-tight mechanical and electrical connection. This single-hole lug is used to terminate a conductor to a busbar, stud, or equipment terminal. Electricians and electrical contractors install compression lugs in panel boards, switchgear, motor terminations, and other power distribution applications where a reliable, permanent conductor termination is required.
The LCB2-38-Q is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations where copper conductors require a bolted termination point. The single-hole mounting configuration allows attachment to a flat lug pad, busbar, or equipment terminal with a single fastener. This style of lug is common in power distribution panels, motor control centers, and service entrance equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style copper compression lug for use in electrical panel, switchgear, and power distribution termination applications requiring a single-hole mounting configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use only a calibrated compression tool rated for the lug series to achieve a proper crimp. Inspect the completed crimp for barrel integrity before torquing the mounting fastener to the equipment terminal specification.
