The PANDUIT LCAXN2/0-14-X is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance electrical terminations. Compression lugs of this type are crimped onto conductor ends using a compatible compression tool, creating a permanent mechanical and electrical bond. This lug features a single-hole mounting tongue for connecting to bus bars, equipment terminals, or grounding points. It is sold individually and is a standard hardware accessory used in panel wiring, switchgear assembly, and electrical distribution work by licensed electricians and electrical contractors.
Copper compression lugs are used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations wherever reliable conductor terminations are required. Typical applications include service entrance wiring, panelboard connections, grounding electrode connections, and equipment bonding. The single-hole tongue configuration suits applications where a compact bolt-down termination point is needed on a bus bar or terminal block.
Designed as an OEM-style compression termination lug for use in electrical panelboard, switchgear, and grounding applications requiring a single-hole copper compression fitting.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before installing or replacing any compression lug. Use a calibrated compression crimping tool rated for the conductor size to ensure a proper gas-tight crimp. Do not use a bolt-type or mechanical connector tool in place of a compression crimping tool.
