The PANDUIT LCAX2-38H-E is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance electrical terminations in power distribution and grounding applications. Compression lugs of this type are crimped onto a conductor using a compatible compression tool, forming a gas-tight mechanical and electrical bond. The single-hole mounting configuration allows the lug to be bolted directly to a busbar, equipment terminal, or grounding point. This hardware is installed by licensed electricians working on panel feeders, service entrances, grounding electrode conductors, and similar branch circuit or distribution wiring tasks.
Copper compression lugs are used across residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work wherever a reliable, code-compliant conductor termination is required. The LCAX2-38H-E is suited for use on copper conductors in switchgear, panelboards, motor control centers, and grounding assemblies. Its one-hole tongue simplifies bolt-down installation at terminal lugs or equipment pads where space is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for copper conductor terminations in residential and commercial electrical distribution, panelboard, and grounding applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use only a compression tool rated and sized for the specific lug and conductor combination to achieve a proper crimp. Do not use solder or mechanical connectors as substitutes for the specified compression method.
