The PANDUIT LCA600-12-6 is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical distribution and power wiring applications. Compression lugs of this type are installed by crimping directly onto the conductor, creating a permanent mechanical and electrical connection without solder. The single-hole mounting configuration allows the lug to be bolted to a bus bar, stud, or equipment terminal. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this type of lug in panel boards, switchgear, and heavy-conductor termination work where a reliable, code-compliant connection is required.
This lug is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations where large-gauge copper conductors require a stable termination point. The compression-style design is widely used in applications governed by NEC requirements for conductor terminations. It is sold individually and is appropriate for use in new construction wiring, equipment replacement, and service upgrade work where a single-hole lug configuration fits the terminal layout.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use in heavy-conductor electrical termination applications where a single-hole copper compression lug is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage with a meter before beginning any termination work. A properly sized hydraulic or mechanical compression tool must be used to achieve a correct crimp; do not substitute mechanical connectors or solder as a substitute for the compression crimp. Torque the mounting hardware to the equipment terminal specification found on the equipment nameplate or installation documentation.
