The PANDUIT HSTTA75-Y is an adhesive-lined, thin-wall heat shrink tubing designed for wire and cable insulation, bundling, and strain relief in electrical installations. The adhesive inner lining flows when heat is applied, creating a moisture-resistant seal around conductors, terminals, and splice points. This type of tubing is a standard component in panel wiring, harness fabrication, and field termination work performed by licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians. It is supplied and sold as a single piece (EA).
Adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing is used across residential, commercial, and industrial electrical applications wherever a durable, sealed termination is required. Common install scenarios include protecting wire splices, insulating ring and spade terminals, sealing cable jacket transitions, and providing strain relief at connector entry points. The thin-wall construction keeps the finished assembly compact in conduit or enclosures where space is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit component for electrical wire and cable termination applications requiring adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified electrical technicians. De-energize all circuits and verify zero voltage before applying heat shrink tubing to any conductor or terminal. Use a calibrated heat gun set to the appropriate shrink temperature — avoid open flame, which can cause uneven shrinkage or char the tubing. Follow NEC guidelines for conductor insulation and termination requirements applicable to the installation environment.
