The PANDUIT HSTT38-C6 is a thin-wall heat shrink tubing sized at 0.38 inches (9.5 mm) supplied diameter. Heat shrink tubing is used to insulate, protect, and bundle wire terminations, splices, and cable assemblies in electrical and low-voltage systems. When heat is applied, the tubing contracts tightly around the substrate to create a durable, protective sleeve. Electricians, panel builders, and control wiring technicians install this type of product during new construction, retrofit, and maintenance work across commercial and industrial applications.
This tubing is suited for use on wire harnesses, terminal insulation, and conductor bundling in control panels, junction boxes, and equipment enclosures. The 0.38-inch recovered diameter makes it appropriate for mid-range wire gauges commonly found in branch circuit wiring, low-voltage control wiring, and instrumentation runs. It is sold as an individual piece, making it practical for spot repairs and small installations alike.
Designed as an OEM-style heat shrink sleeve for use with mid-range diameter wire and cable assemblies in electrical panel, control wiring, and instrumentation applications.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified control wiring technicians. De-energize all circuits before applying heat shrink tubing to any live termination point. Apply heat evenly using an appropriate heat gun, working from the center outward to prevent air pockets or uneven shrinkage. Follow applicable NEC requirements for insulation type and voltage rating when selecting heat shrink materials for a given application.
