The PANDUIT HSTT200-48-5-10 is a thin-wall heat shrink tubing rated at 2 inches (50.8 mm) diameter. It is designed to provide electrical insulation, strain relief, and environmental protection for wire bundles, splices, terminals, and cable ends. Electricians and low-voltage technicians install this tubing in panel wiring, conduit runs, and field terminations where a clean, durable sleeve is needed to protect conductors from abrasion, moisture, and incidental contact. Thin-wall construction allows for a low-profile fit after shrinking, making it suitable for tight wire management applications.
This tubing is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work wherever wire and cable protection is required. Typical applications include bundling multi-conductor wiring harnesses, insulating crimped terminal connections, and providing mechanical protection at cable entry points. It is sized for use on larger-diameter conductors or bundles where standard small-bore tubing is insufficient.
Designed as an OEM-style heat shrink sleeve for use with large-diameter wire bundles, cables, and terminal assemblies in standard electrical installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified low-voltage technicians. De-energize all circuits before applying heat shrink tubing to any conductor or termination. Use a calibrated heat gun to apply even heat around the full circumference of the tubing — avoid open flame sources, which can scorch or unevenly shrink the material. Follow applicable NEC requirements for insulation type and conductor protection in the intended installation environment.
