The assembly terminates with LC connectors on both ends and is engineered to connect to LC-style fiber cassettes in modular patch panel systems. This trunk cable assembly is used in structured cabling systems where pre-terminated solutions are preferred over field-terminated runs. It is suited for data center backbone applications, horizontal or vertical cabling between patch panels and fiber cassette modules, and high-density OM4 multimode networks running 10G, 40G, or 100G Ethernet. Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or datacom cabling technician in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize active equipment and avoid sharp bend radii below the cable minimum bend radius specification during routing. Plenum-rated assemblies must be installed in accordance with NEC Article 770 requirements for optical fiber cables in air-handling spaces.
