The PANDUIT FZTSPXNXNSNF040 is a pre-terminated OM4 multimode fiber optic trunk cable assembly with a 12-fiber count, rated OFNP (plenum-rated, optical fiber nonconductive plenum) for installation in air-handling spaces and plenum ceilings. The assembly terminates with LC connectors on both ends, designed for direct connection between a fiber cassette on one end and LC patch equipment on the other. This trunk is intended for structured cabling infrastructure in data centers, enterprise networks, and high-density fiber distribution systems. Licensed low-voltage cabling technicians and data center infrastructure teams are the primary installers.
This trunk cable assembly is used in high-density fiber backbone runs where pre-terminated solutions reduce installation time and eliminate field termination errors. The OM4 multimode fiber supports high-bandwidth applications including 40G and 100G Ethernet over short to medium distances. The OFNP plenum jacket rating makes it suitable for runs through air-handling plenums without the need for conduit in many code-compliant installations. It is well suited for connecting fiber cassette modules in modular patching systems to active equipment or other cassette-based distribution points.
Designed as an OEM-style pre-terminated trunk assembly for use with LC-interface fiber cassette modules in modular structured cabling and data center fiber distribution systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician familiar with fiber optic handling and bend-radius requirements. De-energize and follow lockout procedures on any active equipment before connecting or disconnecting fiber assemblies. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing to prevent signal degradation or physical fiber damage. Plenum-rated cable installations must comply with applicable NEC and local building code requirements for air-handling spaces.
