The PANDUIT FZ2RPZNZNONM029 is a 2-fiber OM4 multimode fiber optic patch cord designed for structured cabling installations in data centers, enterprise networks, and commercial buildings. Built with a 2mm jacketed cable construction and terminated with CS connectors, this cord supports high-bandwidth applications over OM4-grade multimode fiber. The OFNP (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Plenum) jacket rating makes it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces where plenum-rated materials are required by fire and building codes. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the primary installers.
This patch cord is used in horizontal or backbone cabling runs where plenum-rated fiber is required. It fits structured cabling environments that have adopted the compact CS connector form factor, which supports higher port density compared to traditional LC duplex connectors. Typical applications include switch-to-patch-panel connections, server room cross-connects, and fiber distribution in plenum ceiling spaces. The OM4 fiber grade supports 40G and 100G transmission over standard multimode distances.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard patch cord for OM4 multimode fiber optic systems utilizing CS connector interfaces in plenum-rated structured cabling installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage cabling technician or qualified network infrastructure contractor familiar with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Before installing or removing fiber patch cords, power down active transceivers or confirm port activity to avoid optical exposure hazards. Clean all connector ferrules with an appropriate fiber optic cleaning tool before mating. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing or termination.
