The PANDUIT FZ2ERQ1Q1SNM025 is a duplex fiber optic patch cable built to OM4 multimode specification. It features a 1.6mm cordage diameter, polarity-correct connectors, and an OFNR (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser) rated jacket, making it suitable for vertical riser runs inside commercial buildings. The push-pull connector design allows fast, tool-free insertion and extraction in high-density fiber panels and switch ports where access is tight. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors use this cable to terminate structured cabling systems and connect active equipment in data centers, server rooms, and telecom closets.
This patch cable is designed for OM4 multimode fiber infrastructure supporting high-bandwidth applications such as 10G, 40G, and 100G Ethernet over short to medium distances. The OFNR jacket rating meets National Electrical Code requirements for riser-rated cable installations, allowing use in building risers and open-air plenums where riser-rated pathways are specified. The 1.6mm slim-diameter cordage reduces cable congestion in densely populated fiber enclosures and patch panels.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cable for use with OM4 multimode fiber panels, switches, and transceivers equipped with compatible duplex push-pull style fiber connectors.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians or network infrastructure contractors. De-energize or place connected active equipment in a safe state before disturbing fiber connections to avoid disruption to live circuits. Clean fiber end-faces with an approved fiber optic cleaning tool before mating connectors to prevent insertion loss. Follow TIA-568 and NEC Article 770 guidelines for fiber optic cable routing, bend radius, and riser-rated pathway requirements.
